The transition from illness and treatment to survivorship can be a challenge for many cancer patients. Wellness for Life is a survivorship program designed to help people live beyond their cancer diagnosis, recover from their illness and enhance their physical, emotional and social well-being.
The goals of this program are to address some of the common issues cancer survivors may face after treatment ends including fatigue, motivation to move more and return to daily activities, stress management, and the need for support from others who have shared their experience.
Enrollment in the program begins by making an appointment for a Wellness for Life consultation at the Dempsey Center. Our certified cancer exercise specialist will provide an overview of all of our wellness and fitness options and help design a customized wellness plan for you.
Our goal is to help you meet your personal and changing wellness and fitness goals. We have a variety of programs and partnerships that can help you on your way, as well as additional referrals we can make to support your journey.
